An exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruiter has arisen in our Norwich office, working within our largest division. This role is a business-critical position for Cooper Lomaz, with this person being responsible for one of our most successful teams, who also have enormous growth-potential. 


This job role will need somebody who has experience of leading recruitment teams, and ideally somebody who has experience of training and developing existing and new recruiters. 

The Position

The role will report directly into Alex Hall, who runs our IT division. He is an experienced leader who has a strong track record of delivering exceptional results. In this role you will have a significant impact in the profitability and growth of this team, with us having ambitious plans for the team. 

You will have accountability for increasing headcount, maximising the potential of existing and new staff, winning new business and driving both permanent and contract revenue growth. The part of the job role is that you can demonstrate true leadership qualities and drive positive results from a sales team. 

Working as part of the Management Team, you will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting across the teams and offices, and be responsible for recruitment and retention within your specific area.  However more importantly, you will have a voice to set the tone, message and goals of the division.  This is a role for someone who wants to ‘do’ and have impact on a business.  We want people with ideas and enthusiasm for change.

This role could see you purely managing the team and getting results that way, or it could see you getting stuck in to the market yourself and generating revenue in a hands-on capacity.

Recruitment Consultant - Engineering

Bury St Edmunds

Salary: £20,000 - £28,000

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment are currently undertaking another expansion of their Engineering team, and are therefore looking for another experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a high-performing team.

We are one of the leading specialist recruitment agencies in East Anglia, and have one of most well-known brands in recruitment industry in the region. The Job Role:

The role of a Recruitment Consultant with Cooper Lomaz is a varied position, with a focus on quality rather than quantity. The role involves maintaining and developing client relationships, identifying and developing new client relationships, sourcing candidates and managing your own desk effectively to dominate your own market. You will be given all of the training and support you need to ensure your success.

Due to planned expansion, Cooper Lomaz Recruitment are looking for a Head of Professional Services. This exciting opportunity will give you responsibility for the growth and development of three key divisions; Accountancy & Finance, Sales & Marketing and Insurance. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for driving profitability and headcount growth within these teams.


This job role is a new position for Cooper Lomaz Recruitment, and one we are very excited by as it will see us unlock further sales results and behaviours through inspiring our people. There is huge potential in all three teams, with all of the markets being buoyant in 2018, and showing no signs of slowing down.

Experience Required

Cooper Lomaz are looking for somebody with a demonstrable track-record of managing and growing sales teams within a recruitment business. You could be a Senior Manager within an SME agency looking to move to a larger organisation, or you could be a Manager within a larger corporate agency looking to have a bigger influence within a business and take more ownership of a particular area.

To be considered you must have experience of growing and managing recruitment sales teams of 10+ people, ideally across multiple sectors. Experience of working within a technical or professional service recruitment background is highly desirable.
